About Rightech

Rightech Revolutionises Commercial Transport with Decades of Wrightbus Expertise and a Commitment to Zero-Emissions Innovation.

Wright Bus

Rightech may be a new name to the sector, but it is a business backed with decades of rich manufacturing heritage and infused with expertise from across the globe.

Created by Wrightbus, the fastest-growing bus manufacturer in the whole of Europe, Rightech will benefit from 79 years of unbeatable quality and attention to detail. Not only is Wrightbus firmly cemented as the industry champion in zero emissions transport, but it is also led by one of Britain’s foremost green entrepreneurs, Jo Bamford CBE, who has risen to the challenge of decarbonising the industry.

Wrightbus is not new to the Net Zero story having launched FCEV buses in London in 2006 and the world’s first hydrogen double-decker bus in 2021. And its vehicles – both battery-electric and hydrogen – have already driven millions of miles around the UK and Europe, delivering passengers to their destinations without one drop of carbon from the tailpipe.

Yet regardless of the technology, the service and support offered by the global Wrightbus team means a sector-leading uptime of 98.4%. The transition for operators has never been easier.

The arrival of Rightech will breathe new life into commercial transport fleets of all sizes, with the Wrightbus backing providing operators with the ultimate guarantee from the industry’s best.

Rightech range of vehicles are comprised of carefully selected white label vehicles from partner OEM’s from various countries around the world, leveraging economies of scale and faster time to market to bring affordable BEV vehicles to UK/EU markets.
Wrightbus engineers have spent over 30,000 hours testing, refining and homologating the vehicles to ensure they meet our exacting standard and local legislative requirements.
We have recruited the industries best people in Europe and UK in sales and service roles from bus and truck sectors to ensure we exceed customer’s expectations in all areas.
Our field service technicians are already highly experienced in implementing and supporting zero-emission technologies and have achieved an uptime of 98.6% on our BEV buses. Customers will be supported by carefully selected service partners whose teams will be L4 trained by our experts to bring quality service to the areas where Rightech fleets are operating.
We also have a partnership WTECH with Queens University Belfast with a team of TCO and route planning experts who can support optimising your fleet.
Rightech vehicles, supported by our winning team will help you decarbonize your fleet in the most affordable way.

Electric Urban Logistics
Profit & Sustainability with Rightech

The Inevitable Shift to Electric Urban Fleets

The UK’s urban logistics and transport sector is at a pivotal moment. Fleet owners are navigating two converging forces: escalating operating costs and an uncompromising demand for environmental accountability. Volatile fossil-fuel prices undermine financial planning and long-term profitability, while cities tighten emissions rules – such as London’s ULEZ and other Clean Air Zones – that restrict access and impose penalties on non-compliant vehicles. Success now requires a fundamental strategic shift.

Why Electrify – Now

Electrifying a commercial fleet is no longer a peripheral option or a far-off idea; it is a strategic business imperative. Transitioning to EVs is the single most impactful step a fleet operator can take to:

  • Future-proof against regulatory change
  • Unlock durable, compounding cost reductions
  • Build a forward-looking brand that resonates with customers, investors, and employees

This is a proactive move toward operational resilience and market leadership – not a box-ticking exercise for compliance.

Why Rightech

Choosing the right partner is critical. Rightech delivers more than vehicles: we provide a complete, data-driven electrification ecosystem designed for the realities of UK urban transport. Our purpose-built platforms – the Rightech RT75 logistics truck, the compact, efficient Rightech RB6 and Rightech RB9 urban buses – are engineered for safety, range, and maneuverability in city environments. Paired with our UPTIME 365 telematics, fleets gain real-time visibility and control to maximize availability and return on assets.

Rightech offers a rigorous, data-backed business case for electrifying, addressing financial, operational, and reputational outcomes.

The Business Case: Four Pillars

Long-Term Profitability
A comprehensive Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) analysis - factoring in UK grants - shows EV fleets deliver substantial, sustained savings in energy and maintenance, making electrification the superior long-term investment.
Operational Superiority
Rightech vehicles are purpose-built for the city. With the right range profiles, safety systems, and tight-turn capability, they excel in urban duty cycles. UPTIME 365 telematics elevates reliability and efficiency, reducing unplanned downtime and improving fleet utilisation.
Strategic Energy Management
A smart depot-charging hub - integrated with load management and renewables - turns energy from a volatile external expense into a controllable, resilient, and cost-effective asset. This approach helps fleets navigate grid constraints while protecting margins.
Enhanced Brand Value
Electrification is a visible, credible demonstration of sustainability leadership. It aligns with the UK’s net-zero trajectory and strengthens appeal to customers, employees, investors, and stakeholders.

More Than Just Vehicles, Rightech Provides A Full Ecosystem

Successful transition demands more than a purchase order; it requires a new operating model. With Rightech, an investment in a vehicle is an investment in an ecosystem: high-performance hardware, a powerful data and analytics platform, and the deep domain expertise to plan, deploy, and scale electrification with minimal disruption.

The road ahead for urban logistics is electric. UK and EU pioneers have proven the model and are already realizing the benefits. The question is no longer if, but how fast you can capture the advantage.
